DeNami Color Challenge

For my JUGS post, click HERE.

It's DeNami challenge time! This time around, it's a color challenge and Wendy's picked out such an elegant, classic combo...

And here's what I came up with...

I used DeNami's large hibiscus stamp - I love that big, beautiful image (just so you know, they also have the hibiscus in other sizes too :)). I used grey card stock as the base and stamped the hibiscus using white acrylic paint. I stamped another hibiscus in black on white card stock,  colored it with yellow pastel, cut it out and popped it up on a strip of white card stock. Then I finished it off with one of my fav sentiments.

Make sure to pop by the DeNami blog and check out what the rest of the incredible DT has to share :)

It's week 2 for the CR84FN #42 challenge colors!!! And boy are they good 'uns!!!

So many fabulous entries so far and one more week to play along!

For this week's card, I took my inspiration from a photo I found on Pinterest;

To add a little definition to the butterflies, I embossed them with my mehndi impression plate from PTI. Hope you can play along!!!

JUGS #106 - Color Challenge

Check out these awesome colors from Just Us Girls!!! Talk about fun!

I don't make many Halloween cards but these colors just screamed (get it?) Halloween.

I saw a pic on the web of a harlequin pattern using these colors and thought it would make an awesome background. I used an argyle stamp and used by trusty ol' Copics to color it up. Then I used a scrap of muslin, soaked it in colorless blender and patted it on the argyle pattern. I think I over-soaked the muslin - I was going for the pattern of the muslin but ended up with something a bit more blotchy. I still kinds like it :)

Let's see what the rest of the talented JUGS DT has whipped up!!!

CR84FN #38

Time for another CR84FN color challenge!

The photos in the gorgeous inspiration graphic come from A Creative Mint

How fun are these colors?!?! LOVE them!!! They just inspired me to make a fun card!

The lines are created with pink and black twine - I just punched holes an inch apart and threaded craft twine through them. I think this design would be great for a nautical theme too.

Before I sign off, please help me welcome our lovely and talented guest DT member for the month of September, Marie Oberg from Ink'd Wings!!! Welcome Marie!! So glad you could share your talents with us this month!!! Check out what the other wonderful DT members have up their super crafty sleeves;

We're still unpacking but hopefully I'll be back to my crafty self real soon!!! Thanks so much for all of your supportive comments and well-wishes during the move!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
