Just Us Girls #154: Rainbow Color Challenge

Well hello sports fans! Another spot of life arising from the blog here. Wow. Where does the time go? And quite the colorful burst of activity it is!

This week's JUGS challenge is a rainbow color challenge! So cheerful, wouldn't ya say?

Here's my rainbow...

I've made a card something similar to this one before and I've seen similar designs in blogland. When I saw the colour challenge, I just could't get it out of my head. Easy peasy but I love the pop of color.

Hope the back to school frenzy is easing for you all. We don't have children but I lecture at a university so, boy, do I know how that all goes!

DeNami Sketch Challenge

It's challenge time! Lisa is the creator of the fabulous sketch featured in the latest DeNami Challenge!

Here's my take;

I couldn't resist using DeNami's rainbow stamp! I stamped two clouds first, then masked them and stamped the rainbow over top. On the blue card base, I stamped polka dots in light blue then I added the wonderful sentiment. We could all use a little sunshine now and then :)

Rainbow bright: JUGS #85

You're going to want to play along with Just Us Girls this week. I'm just sayin'… the uber talented Dana's got a FUUUUN color challenge - use the colors of the rainbow on your card or project!!!

My ric rac die called out to me for this challenge! I thought a rainbow of colored ric rac would be so fun.

Since the ric rac and buttons made me smile, I figured the sentiment was well suited :) Hopefully it'll make a recipient smile someday :) Kind of a cute, one-layer card; I like the way it turned out.
