Hope you are enjoying the August DeNami Blog Hop!

This month's most excellent theme is…

Time to go small or stay home LOL!

You should have arrived here from Pattie Goldman's fabulous blog.

If not, head on over to the DeNami Blog for the master list of hop participants. You'll want to stay on track… leaving a comment on every blog along the way (including the DeNami Blog) gives you a chance to win one of TWO $20 DeNami gift certificates!!!! Another $20 gift certificate will be given to a randomly chosen blog hop participant!

I went a little crazy with the minis ;)

First up, I made a cute little set of Christmas themed cards. I used the following DeNami products;

These cards measure 4.25 x 4.25".  I used Spellbinders Create a Flake 2 dies to make a negative die cut in the white carsdtock. On the base, I stamped the Lacy Flake in Versamark, added some Judykins Sticky Stuff, heated it up then added glitter. The Judykins Sticky Stuff works SOOO much better for glitter that the glue pads IMHO.

Then I heat embossed each of the sentiments in silver. So cute!

The colors are awesome - love that textured cardstock!!!

I just kept on crafting in miniature :)

I saw a vellum envelope somewhere in my travels (gosh darn it if I forget right now). So I really wanted to make mini cards that fit in a vellum envelope. Here's a little tutorial…

I started with a 5 x 3.25" piece of vellum.

I dry embossed the vellum for a bit of texture. Then I scored at 1.5" from each side and 0.5" from the bottom.

Then use adhesive to adhere the flaps to one another and create the little envelope. I then took a circle punch to cut a little piece out of the top to make removal of the card easier.

Here's the little envie...

To make the card, I cut a piece of card stock at 5.5" and 1 ⅞" and scored in the middle.

I attached the entire envelope to a tag so that it can be attached to a gift. These would make really cute, reusable Christmas tags - you'd just have to replace the card inside the envelope.

And here are the finished products :)

Hope you enjoyed my blog hop offerings!

Your next stop of the hop is the talented, Debbie Marcinkiewicz!
I'm sure she has LOVELY mini treats whipped up for you!

Happy Hopping!!!

JUGS #74 - Sketch Challenge

Time for a new challenge from Just Us Girls!

This week, the sweet and talented Kristin has a lovely sketch to inspire you :) Here's my take;

I used the latest Play Date Cafe challenge for color inspiration. It's another color splash challenge and I chose red to go along with black and white.

I love this dress stamp from DeNami Design - great for a wedding, graduation (girl of course :)), bridesmaid, girls night out... I could go on! I colored the dress red (R22, 24, 29) and bordered it with W1. I used the alphabet impression plate on the light grey background but it's a bit heard to see in the pics.

We have a new guest designer for the month of March - please help me give a huge welcome to the talented Alyssa Scritchfield!!! Welcome Alyssa!!! We're so glad to have you on board :)

Also take a moment to swing by the blogs of the rest of the wonderful JUGS DT! Their links are in my sidebar to the right :)

Enjoy your weekend! Thanks so much for stopping by!

A few of my favorite DeNami things...

Happy Friday Bleeps!!!

Today, it's my turn to share a few of my favorite DeNami Design Products with you all :)

1. Fly a Kite - this stamp just plain makes me feel good! It reminds me of childhood - freedom and simplicity. The kite tail with the little ribbons is such a great touch :)

2. Textured cardstock - ohhh, I love the textured cardstock!!! Wonderful texture but easy to stamp on as well. And in so many yummy colors!

3. Any of the Petit Fours - OMG how much do I love these bitty stamp sets! They can be used as a focal point, as a background... versatile and beautiful!

4. Teeny Heart background - I just love this sweet little heart background! It just makes the perfect backdrop on any project and does equally well front and center as a focal point. I could just use it over and over again and NEVER tire of it!

5. Owl Trio - what's not to love?! These cute little owls can work perfectly as a border or individually, cut out and placed in different arrangements. They're so cute and completely versatile

6. Birdhouse Trio - What I really like about this stamp is the fact that it is a large image - it makes a great focal point!!! Plus it's too cute!

Here's a fun card using the awesome Owl Trio! Not only can you make a nice border with these cuties, they can be stamped as an entire background. They're so cute cut out and colored too :)

I used Magenta textured cardstock, brown grosgrain ribbon and the Whimsical Oval Frame. The sentiment is from the Assorted Greetings petit fours. I love the way this card turned out!!! So adorable :)

I also thought I would share how I store my DeNami Stamps.
I found plastic storage drawers at my local Walmart and they work perfectly to sort and store my DeNami's :)

I have that stamps stored loosely by theme (Holiday, background, etc).

Check out the DeNami blog for the rest of the DeNami DT Favorite Things series as well as so much more :)

Thanks so much for taking the time to swing by and visit! I sure do appreciate it!!! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
