DeNami Blog Hop: Monochromatic

For my CR84FN post, click HERE.

It's DeNami Blog Hop time!!!

If you've arrived here from the wonderful and talented Wendy Elliot's blog, you're on the right track :) If you've missed the beginning of the hop or simply need to return to the master list, just hop back to the DeNami Blog.

Time to go MONOCHROMATIC :) These are some of my favorite color schemes!

For this card I used the following DeNami Design products;
Brown Grosgrain Ribbon

I started by placing some Antique Linen distress ink on a craft mat, spritzing with water then laying a section of linen cardstock onto the ink - for a watermark-type look. I sponged around the edges with the same Antique Linen ink. The Winter Evergreen Tree (LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this stamp) is stamped in Rich Cocoa from memento and the leaves from the Classic Leaves Petit Four are stamped in Desert Sand (Memento). I wanted a few leaves to be falling to create sort of a lonely feeling to accompany my "miss you" sentiment from the Assorted Greetings Petit Four. I haven't done this sort of a ribbon treatment in a while so I thought it was time to break it out again :) Finally, the card base is dry embossed with a woodgrain impression plate.

Now it's time to keep on hopping. Your next stop is the lovely Paulina Nakamura - she is one of the sweetest, most creative folks around!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy hopping!!!
