The cold has passed. This week has been, and continues to be, a busy one - I've made a trip into work today (for 6 hours) and will have to do the same tomorrow. I can't wait to get back up into the craft room and make a few more cards. Also have some organization to do - I love organizing. It soothes me :) A package from PTI should be arriving Monday. I LOVE packages, especially with stamping stuff. New stamp sets, paper, ink, ribbon - oooohhhhh...... Can't wait to play! I plan on taking part in some up coming challenges - if I can work up the nerve :) Now that my cold has moved on, I'm back at the gym. They have the greatest cardio movie suite - you can watch a movie on a ginormous screen while working out on one of several elliptical trainers, treadmills or stationary bikes. 45 minutes flew by! I've lost 2 lbs - was hoping to lose more but the cold slowed down my progress - it made me tired and miserable but my appetite remained intact :P Anyway, thought I would share a few pics from our visit to the Grand Ole' Opry grounds a week ago. Cheers!

Summer colds suck!
Last week, my husband and I had visitors. My cousin, her husband and two young boys came all the way from Canada to visit. My wonderful friend and her two boys also joined us. It was AWESOME!!! The boys are the same ages and got along famously. We went to the zoo, the aquarium, a few museums and, of course, shopping :). My cousin is very into paper crafting as well so we visited several local scrapbooking places. I wish we all lived closer together - we could have so much fun. Although, the wallet would most definitely take a hit :) To end the fabulous week, however, I have become host to a wonderful cold virus. Summer colds are the worst :P Here's hoping is passes quickly....
Wonderful Friday!
It's started... I began my fitness quest with my personal trainer this morning. Boy, am I sore :) But I really am impressed with the process so far (for what that's worth since it is my first real work out day :)). Nothing really crafty to share - have been busy cleaning, playing softball and, of course, work. Been preparing for visitors - so exciting! Also have to finish adding stuff to my blog - well, for now :)
Happy Monday!
Here's the list of supplies; Stamps: Inkadoo all occassion small sentiment, Inkadoo baby (can't remember exact set) Ink: Memento black, versa mark Paper: PTI dark chocolate, PTI stamper's select white, PTI sweet blush, DCWAV patterned paper Other: white satin ribbon (paper studio), nestabilities, copic markers (R20) and airbrush system, silver brads, corner rounder punch (extended to create scalloped border), clear stickles, silver embossing powder _________________________________________________________________________________________________________ After many (failed) attempts at weight loss and increasing my level of fitness, I joined a local gym and hired a personal trainer. I went nuts :) With such a poor track record, I figure I need the help with goal setting and actually achieving my goals. So far I am totally satisfied with the process - they're really thorough and friendly. And away we go.... In other news, my cousin and her family come next weekend and I can't wait. Lots of touring around and visiting attractions. My husband will get to act like the big kid he is :) Got around to making a card for friends that just had a baby girl. I love card making - it is such a great, relaxing pastime. The other new-found love in my hobby-seeking life is copic markers - how fun are they?!?!? Anyway, TTFN!
