JustRite 12 Weeks of Christmas Blog Hop 9

Happy Wednesday morning!!! The JUGS gals have some really exciting news today. We're all participating in the JustRite Stampers 12 Weeks of Christmas Blog Hop!!! The wonderful folks at JustRite have been so generous to us at JUGS and I'm so happy to participate in this fantastic event! WELCOME to my stop on this week's JustRite 12 Weeks of Christmas Blog Hop!

What is the JustRite 12 Weeks of Christmas Blog Hop? Every Wednesday up until Thanksgiving some of your favorite designers will be joining some of the JustRite design team for a series of Christmas blog hops, showcasing JustRite’s entire Christmas Collection of stamps!  Don’t forget that JustRite has some Christmas stamps in their newly released CLING line of stamp sets, too -- you can find them HERE

For the month of November, JustRite thought they would switch gears a little and throw in some holiday gift ideas using your JustRite stamps, so be watching for those, too, during November’s hops!  And in celebration of JustRite’s 9th and 10th weeks of Christmas Blog Hops, they have a huge surprise for you -- take 25% off  All JustRite Original Christmas Stamps now through November 15th, also with free shipping within the U.S. Don't forget to tell Santa!!

On to my project for the hop. I chose to use the gorgeous cardinal stamp from JustRite's Back Yard Birds set;

This handsome little guy is colored up with Copics. I just adore this cutie! The sentiment around the periphery is from the Christmas Ornaments set. I wanted the snow to stand out a bit so I added some liquid applique to give it some dimension. I stamped it on aqua mist, cut out with nestabilites and popped it up on foam tape.

Please visit these designers’ blogs to see what fabulous JustRite Christmas inspiration they have for you on the hop today!

Thanks so much to JustRite for having us play along with the Christmas blog hop and for your generous support!!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy hopping!!!

 TTFN,

Andrea M

A technique challenge with JustRite - JUGS #50

Wow - I'm still slammed at work. Not too much time for stamping sadly :( But my parents are coming into town tonight and I'm so excited! I haven't seen them since December - they're here for a month and I CAN'T WAIT!!!

In other fun and exciting news, it's time for another JUGS challenge! This week I'm hosting a technique challenge - get out your heating tools and clear embossing powder and let's have some fun with the cracked glass technique!!! There's a tutorial HERE at Splitcoaststampers.

In more exciting news, JustRite Stampers® is our sponsor this week!!!! Here's a little more information provided by JustRite...

JustRite Stampers has a huge collection of Christmas and holiday stamp sets from which to choose.  Their entire collection can be viewed here.  They also offer the full line of Memento full-sized ink pads and now a selection of 96 expertly-chosen Copic Sketch markers which may be purchased as singles, trios or quads!  The number one question people have about Copic markers is which colors will work together nicely to give a great shading of color.  Now the JustRite design team has done all the work for you -- their quad and trio sets are designed so that you can be assured they will work together to give you a perfect blending group! JustRite has a great 2-page reference guide you can download here.

JustRite is also hosting a 12-Weeks of Christmas Blog Hop starting this week; the details can be found here. Every Wednesday for the next 12 weeks, the JustRite DT and various designers will showcase the JustRite Christmas Collection. As a part of that event, the JUGS gals will be hopping along with JustRite on November 3!!!!

And, AND.... JustRite has so generously supplied the following prize to be given to one lucky, randomly selected participant this week....
WOW! You just gotta play along for a chance at that awesome prize package!!!

Here's my take on the challenge. I used JustRite's Christmas Ornaments. I really wanted to make a card with a non-traditional color scheme.

If you already haven't, see the JUGS site for all the challenge deets. Don't forget to swing by the blogs of the other JUGS DT gals and show them a little love :) Their links are posted on the side bar of my blog. Make sure you stop by and show some love to our September featured designer, Lynn Mangan

Thanks so much for playing along with Just Us Girls - we love seeing your creations and always appreciate your support!

A second chance to win - AWESOME! So be sure to head on over to the JUGS blog and check out the challenge deets!!!

Here's my take on the sketch...

A closer view...

I love that sentiment 'cause I really think it's important to do it sometimes - maybe not always literally but at least figuratively, take time for yourself and stop and smell those flowers! I love this JustRite® stamp set - it's Beautiful Blossoms Borders and Centers. So pretty and so fun to color :) I stamped this beauty on vintage cream and colored with copics (BV00, V95, V99, YG11, G24). I outlined the finished image with BG000. I'm loving seam binding right now - I just purchased a spool of white and I use copics, alcohol inks or glimmer mist to color it up - it's great 'cause I can customize it.
Now for other big news! Debbie Marcinkiewicz will be joining us as our Featured Designer for the month of July! Welcome Debbie! We're so glad to have you and your awesome talent on-board with us this month! So make sure you swing by her blog and leave some love :)

Don't forget to swing by the blogs of the other JUGS DT gals and show them a little love :) Their links are posted on the side bar of my blog. Thanks so much for playing along with Just Us Girls - we love seeing your creations and always appreciate your support!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
