JUGS #140: Acrylic distress technique

Technique time at Just Us Girls

Maria has picked out an amazing technique - acrylic distress. There's a wonderful tutorial HERE.

I haven't made many masculine cards lately and with Father's Day around the corner, this seemed like the perfect technique for a manly card. I embossed card stock with woodgrain then painted brown acrylic paint over top. After it dried, I sanded it down to expose the lighter color. I finished it off with a tree, oval and twine. What an awesome technique! Love the way it turned out :)

Make sure to swing by the JUGS blog to see what the rest of the DT and our amazing guest designer, Hannelie, have in store!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
