Who doesn't love bakers twine?!?! Colorful, versatile, soooo pretty! I recently took the plunge and bought a sampler pack from The Twinery and, let's just say, to say I love the stuff is an understatement :)
So play along for the sheer enjoyment of playing with twine... but just to whet your appetite... The Twinery has offered a sampler pack (11 different colors) to one lucky participant as a prize!!!!
For my card, I used the fabulous fly a kite stamp from DeNami. One of my newest favs. Also shown here is the "Sunny Days" sentiment as the tail of the kite, small cloud stamp and, finally, flying birds stamp. The kite is colored with Copic markers and I used the Copic airbrush system to airbrush BG13 for the sky. The clouds were stamped on white felt and cut out for fluffiness :) The sunny days sentiment makes the perfect, flowing kites tail. Finally, I wrapped several colors of twine around the base of the card - the colors are from The Twinery and are (from top to bottom) Peapod, Lemondrop, Mandarin, and Caribbean. Cute huh?!
Hop on over to the DeNami blog for all the challenge details. Make sure to stop at the DeNami DT blogs to leave some love to those talented, sweet gals! Also, please give a hearty welcome to our guest designer for the month of February, the super talented Kim Wilson!!! Welcome Kim, so glad to have you join us!!!!
Can't wait to see everyone's creations!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
