Time to get sketchy over at Just Us Girls! I'm the hostess this week and I'll get to the sketch in just a sec…
We've got some sad news to share. Our dear, sweet Kathryn is stepping down from the JUGS DT :(
Kathryn and I started at JUGS at the same time so I am especially sad - she's like my twin :) I'll miss you girl but I know you're only a click away so I'll be popping by to say Hi! It's been such a pleasure working with you this past 2 years (holy cow, has it really been 2 years?! Where has the time gone?). Best of luck friend!!!
On to the sketch.
The Stitches and Swirls set from PTI was sitting on my desk (ummm, for MONTHS now) and I finally decided to put it to good use :) I'm really going to like this set for backgrounds - why did I wait so long to break it out?! I stamped the yellow flower twice so I could cut up the second image to add some dimension. I've been making a lot of one layer cards lately so I was due for a few more layers.

Love the 3D flower to match the bg stamping! Beautiful card~
I think I always say this to you Andrea...but I'm staring at your card :) I love the way you added the dimension to the flower...so soft and serene and perfect for a get well card. Love it.
Oh you should definitely play more with that sweet set if this beauty is anything to go by! I love how you've used it for both the background and focal point!
Hugs!

This is absolutely lovely! That paper-piecing is fabulous!
What a beauty, Andrea! I didn't get this set, but I love the way it looks in white ink on kraft. The yellow flower is so sweet, too!
Yo, the popped up parts of that flower are amazing!!! And love the overstamped sentiment.

This is beautiful Andrea, lovely stamping, and a great sketch!
Have a great Easter!
What a gorgeous card, Andrea! It's so pretty! I love it!
Wonderful Job, I love how you popped the flower out! Love the look of your blog!!
You can make them all...dimensional, single layer...they're all lovely when you create them. This is a prime example ;) Love that flower, though... how did you get dimensionals small enough for those flower bits?! BEAUTIFUL!
