DeNami 2012 Stamp Release Sneak Peek

Hold on to your seats! It's another SUPER exciting release day at DeNami Design!!!

Can you hardly stand it?! Sneak peeks #1 and #2 have been thoroughly amazing! Now it's on to day #3 of the release festivities and I'm so excited to share the release spotlight with my fantastically talented teammate, Wendy, and our fabulously fearless leader, Paulina. We're going to sneaky peek our way through Birthday Stamps!

As you may have already heard and seen, not only is DeNami releasing new stamps, but they're new rubber cling stamps!!! And there's new accessories as well. Fun, right?!

I've had sometime to play with these new rubber cling stamps and, let me tell you, they stamp as incredibly as the wood mount stamps but with more versatility and super easy storage!

Without further adieu, here are my projects for the release.

For this first baby, I wanted to make something a little elegant. I chose DeNami's Navy card stock as my base and stamped one of the new Decorative Borders in white. Then I stamped a brand new DeNami Happy Birthday Script in black on an embossed die cut - I like the contrast in stripes and floral embossing. Rounding it all off is this little cupcake and candle from the new Birthday Celebration stamp set - I love these little cuties!

For this next card, again, that darling little cupcake from DeNami's new Birthday Celebration stamp set popped up on a light pink die cut. The faint pattern on the pink scalloped circle is also a new release from yesterday's Decorative Borders set. The cupcake is colored with Copics - then I added glossy accents to the icing with a few micobead "sprinkles" for funsies. The bright pink banner is cut from DeNami's magenta card stock and embossed with swiss dots. I finished it off with a sentiment from DeNami's Thoughtful Greetings Petit Four - an oldie, but a goodie :)

Finally, this little sweetie :) I love this blue and lime-colored color scheme. To stamp the colored dots, I first drew a light grid in pencil on the card stock. Then I stamped the circles with DeNami's Mini Polka Dot. I stamped DeNami's new Happy Birthday Script and that cute little party hat from the new Birthday Celebration stamp set. So cute!!!

Now for the AWESOME GIVEAWAY!!!

CR84FN #49

Time for an all new CR84FN color challenge

I just love these colors! The neutrals with a pop of yellow. So lovely. We have a new guest designer for the month - please help us welcome Shannon White!!! Welcome Shannon - we are so excited you are joining us at CR84FN!

After die cutting the word baby, I decided to stamp "congratulations of the birth of your" - in retrospect I feel like I should have just left it well enough alone. Just the word "baby" without the stamped text. Otherwise, I kinda like how it turned out :) Enough whining here - lets see what you can do with these fabulous colors!

Erin go bragh! What better way to show your Irish pride than with the stamp in the DeNami Product Spotlight!

Don't forget, the stamp in the product spotlight is 10% off for one week!!!

I printed a shamrock, cut it out then used it as a mask. I used a small shamrock from DeNami's Lucky Irish Petit Four to fill it in. I stamped the spotlight stamp, Happy St. Patrick's Day, on vellum.

Make sure to see what the rest of the amazing DeNami DT have in store!

Week 2 of the CR84FN color challenge

Such beautiful colors :)

I stamped my flowers (Lace Bouquet from PTI) in smokey shadow then colored them with copics. I pushed the color into the card stock with colorless blender on a piece of fabric to dilute it a little. Then I stamped text over top and embossed in white. I placed a piece of vellum under a negative die cut, then stamped and embossed the sentiment. The sentiment is from a Thank You set that PTI sent out to their customers, well, to say thank you :)

JUGS #124: Color it UP!

Are you tired of drab ol' winter? Need color infusion? Well Dana's got a color combo over at Just Us Girls that'll put a "spring" in your step (get it? I'm so lame :)).

A bouquet of pastel loveliness!

Here's what my feeble mind came up with… (that's a whole other story, my mind is mush after several taxing weeks at work…Oy).

I've been really drawn to geometric designs lately. When I saw the inspiration graphic, the circles containing the colors just spoke to me. I pictured a bubbly, fun birthday card. And, happily, what I pictured managed to make it out in card form :) 'Cause sometimes what I see in my mind's eye gets lost in translation. And, BONUS, it's a one layer card. YAY! Dunno why, but I feel so satisfied after a one layer card. Gives me that warm and fuzzy feeling all ovah :)

Check out what the rest of the talented JUGS DT has whipped up!!!

I just adore this sweet little chickie with a flower! I thought he'd be so sweet matched up with fun colors of the textured DeNami card stocks. I cut 1" strips of lime, sky and magenta card stocks and rounded the corners. I stamped the cutie three times then colored him up with Copics. As an aside, I'm not sure why I keep saying "him" for this chickie; I guess I just picture it as a "him" presenting a flower to his favorite gal :)

I really like how this turned out for a really CAS card. The colors and chickie are just so fun and cheerful.

That's it from here:) Off to your next stop, which is Rae Ann Beyerl

Happy Hopping!!!

Time for a new CR84FN challenge!

These colors are just so beautiful. I really love purple; mixed with green and grey, well that's just gravy!

I decided to make one last Valentine's card before the big day;

I stamped lavender stripes and grey dots on a piece of soft stone card stock.
