Spring has officially sprung up here in eastern Canada (although it was chilly today). The flowers are blooming, the grass is greening, people are starting to sneeze. Yep, it's a great time of year ;)
Even the colors for the latest CR84FN challenge are so springy and beautiful. Check it...
Aren't they stunning? So soft and pretty.
I had lots of ideas for these colors but I just couldn't get pink lemonade out of my mind. So I went with it. I used PTI's Friendship Jar and Summer Fillers. I masked the ice, straw, and lemons in places. I colored with my Copics then stamped my pink lemonade over top. I sponged pink around the edges of the card stock and stamped text lightly over top. When stamping the text, I inked up the stamp then used a wipe to touch parts of the stamp and remove the ink. This left a patchy appearance, which I really love :)

OH MY WORD! Andrea, this card is stunning. It makes me mouth water with the though of some lovely pink lemonade on the patio. Gorgeous use of this color combo and a perfectly delicious specimen of what someone can do when they REALLY know how to color!

I more than like it! Yummm! I think this card is so cute and fun. It also has me kicking myself for not purchasing that jar fillers stamp set yet. :)
oh, I would so love to be on a deck with you sipping pink lemonade and getting to know each other better...and then our crazy lives! We have some warmer weather, but then it gets cold again...this weekend should be in the 20s...we'll see! BUT the rain has brought us the green hills and mountains that will be yellow come summer...so I'm enjoying them now :) LOVE the soft colours on this and the pop of blue :)
